The Toledo Howler is published four times a year by the Toledo chapter of the Belize Tourism Industry Association. It exists to promote the commercial development of Toledo through tourism which is the largest single sector in the Belize economy. Annual events and celebrations regularly featured in the Howler include Garifuna Settlement Day (November 19th), Maya Day celebrations in March and the Chocolate Festival towards the end of May. It showcases destinations, activities, tour operators, transport services, accommodation, restaurants, craftspeople and other businesses benefiting from visitors to Toledo. The Toledo Howler is a "free sheet" financed by advertizing and aims to contribute to BTIA’s other promotional activities. Download the last edition by clicking here ![]()
